Some of our staff have over 30 years’ experience working in childcare. Collectively we have over 318 years of experience within our staff team who are all dedicated to providing the best care for your child.

Nursery Manager, Val Worrall

I have worked at Higher Broughton Nursery since 2012. I have a BA Hons degree in advanced early years and health and early years professional status (EYPS). I have 40 years’ experience of working within the childcare sector. I am passionate about childcare and supporting all children and their families to thrive. To watch children, learn and grow and develop their personalities and to be the best that they can be.

Deputy Nursery Manager, Alison Savage

I have worked within the local authority for more than 22 years. I have an N.N.E.B and I am the Deputy Manager at the nursery. Within my role I specialise, and I am the coordinator in SEND. I provide support and guidance on development for our children and also support our families.

Team Leader, Caroline Hughes

I started working for the local authority in Early Years 1987. I have an N.N.E.B. My main aim in my job is to support families and nurture children so they are confident independent individuals.

Team Leader, Gerardine Edge

I have worked at Higher Broughton Nursery since the year 2000. I have a NVQ 4 in Childcare. I enjoy seeing the children enjoying themselves, being happy and achieving in all areas to their full potential.

Team Leader, Nadia Wilkinson

I have worked at Higher Broughton Nursery since 2016.I have a level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification.I am passionate about encouraging all children to be the best that they can be in all development areas of learning. I promote a physical and healthy friendly setting within our nursery.
